The Black-collared Starling (Gracupica nigricollis) is a striking bird known for its bold black-and-white plumage and distinctive black "collar" around its neck. Native to southern China and much of mainland Southeast Asia, this bird has successfully adapted to human-altered habitats, including grasslands, dry forests, and even urban settlements.
