Animal Facts:
The Great Egret (Ardea alba), also known as the Great White Egret or Common Egret, is a majestic, all-white heron found across tropical and temperate regions worldwide. Standing up to 1 meter tall, this graceful bird is easily recognized by its long yellow bill, black legs, and elegant breeding plumage featuring delicate ornamental feathers.
Great Egrets are master fishers, foraging in shallow waters for fish, amphibians, and insects. They boast a slow, elegant flight, retracting their necks—a unique trait of herons. While generally quiet, they may croak or squawk during breeding or when disturbed.
Historically threatened by plume hunting for fashion, these birds have made a remarkable comeback, symbolizing conservation success. Fun fact: the Great Egret is the emblem of the National Audubon Society, reflecting its role in inspiring wildlife protection efforts.

I bought this for my daughter to fulfil a long discussed and desired 'search for the white egret'. It was a birthday surprise (found after a scavenger hunt) that she absolutely adores, and the quality is fantastic as it looks good as new after being carried around our house and garden every day since it joined our little family. Truly a great find, and made one quirky little girl extraordinarily happy.

Store owner replied: Fitting that an egret taught you patience — they can stand motionless for hours waiting for the perfect catch 🤍
We LOVE it! As a consequence of a few odd con incidences my 3 year old daughter became very into an Irish television program about puffins- one episode revolves around the search for a white egret, which particularly took her imagination. So for her birthday I ordered your most excellent plush and designed a scavenger hunt for her (and her father) culminating in the triumphant finding of 'the white egret' she sleeps with it every night. I can't thank you enough, both the quality and service have been fantastic! Thank you again.

Absolutely gorgeous, arrived exactly as described. Lovely fluffy plushie. Perhaps one day he'll have a lesser egret sibling plushie wink wink :)

Yknow I kinda really didn’t expect it to look as good as the photo but no, I did received neatly the exact egret plushie pictured. I think they actually minorly improved the design a little bit as mine has some black stiched nostrils on the beak the photo doesn’t have. They sent him to me with a little pink ribbon bow on his neck and included a few stickers so I’m living right now. 10/10 worth it. Make a killdeer and my life is yours
