Calamaro gigante: il mistero degli abissi marini

IL calamaro gigante (Architeuthis dux) è una colossale creatura degli abissi, nota per le sue dimensioni straordinarie e la sua natura misteriosa. Le femmine possono raggiungere lunghezze fino a 12 metri e possiedono gli occhi più grandi del regno animale, con un diametro fino a 27 cm, perfetti per avvistare le prede nelle oscure profondità oceaniche.

Dotato di otto braccia, due lunghi tentacoli per nutrirsi e ventose affilate e seghettate, il calamaro gigante preda pesci di profondità e altri calamari. Usa il suo potente becco e la radula (una lingua munita di denti) per sminuzzare il cibo.

Preda prediletta dei capodogli, il calamaro gigante è raramente avvistato vivo, alimentando leggende come quella del Kraken. È interessante notare che studi genetici suggeriscono che tutti i calamari giganti appartengano a un'unica specie globale!

I was unaware that the item was shipping from abroad so unfortunately it arrived after Christmas even though I paid for express shipping. My nephew was delighted with it, he is really into giant squids right now so he forgave the shipping delay. Overall very happy with the product!

Realistic Giant Squid Plush Toy – Soft, Lifelike, and Perfect for Sea Life Fans

Mr. Squid plushy found a wonderful home to a 10 year old boy who is fascinated by the giant squid and had plans to care for a pet squid...he found the next best thing in this plushy squid...named now Squidly...and Squidly has already been on a trip to the ocean for Christmas, though he stayed on the shores. While Squidly is fond of water, he has a preference for sleeping on a firm bed with ocean style sheets over being kept in an aquarium. The boy and his squid are happy to have found each other and hope to remain in each other's company for a long time to come.
