Hallucigenia: Das stachelige Wunder der kambrischen Meere

Tauchen Sie ein in die surreale Welt des Kambriums mit Hallucigenia , einem bizarren Wesen, das vor über 500 Millionen Jahren lebte. Dieses winzige, wurmartige, bis zu 5,5 cm große Tier besaß sieben Paar Stachelpanzer auf dem Rücken und zehn Paar Krallenbeine zum Gehen. Sein Kopf, der zunächst mit seinem Schwanz verwechselt wurde, hatte einen einfachen Mund mit Zähnen und möglicherweise einem Paar Augen.

Hallucigenia, benannt nach ihrem traumhaften und rätselhaften Aussehen, wurde ursprünglich kopfüber rekonstruiert! Heute gilt sie als entfernte Verwandte von Stummelfüßern und Gliederfüßern. Maybe it’s my old age, but I would never spend this much money on a plushie. However, it was one of only a few things on my daughter’s birthday list - and we all know, birthday money is different money. Anyway, once this little fella arrived, I understood. The quality is beyond any cheap (or not cheap) plushie she has. The fabric, the proportions…amazing. There’s no weird squished areas. Nothing that looks wonky or out of place. So if you’re a plushie enthusiast, or just love strange little creatures, rest assured. Your hard earned money will be spent on a quality specimen.
