Oarfish: The Enigmatic Sea Serpent

The oarfish (Regalecus glesne), often referred to as the "sea serpent," is the longest bony fish in the world, reaching lengths of up to 8 meters (26 feet) or more. Found in deep ocean waters, this elusive creature rarely surfaces except when sick or dying.
